Default changing the dash clocks?

I just wondered what was involved in changing the dash clocks from the ones from the earlier ones with the temp and fuel gauges each side of the rev and speed counter. to the newer one with the water and fuel gague on the left, with the revs on the far right and speed in the middle. as these have a digital mileometer instead of the traditional mechanical one
