Default Time Attack 4th Round

RCM won in style, that Gobstopper is like a guided missile.
1st RCM 1.25.983
2nd ZEN 1.27.200
3rd G/MSPORT 1.28.031
4th AUTOSPORTIF 1.28.545
RCM 8 points clear, great racing, the ZEN car is getting faster each outing and was leading at one stage, then Olly Clark went from 1.28 to 1.25 and was then unable to be caught, well done to all a great day.

I think zen should let olly clarke loose in there car, that would be interesting.
lets face it he was tought to drive by a true rallying god! i think he would still win if you put him in the fith placed car!!

Olly is just a talented driver... not professional like the driver in the Zen car... if anything the tables should be up the other way IMO.

It's not the same car as last year - it's entirely new to the point were it wasn't ready for the first race, but had to go anyway because a new rule says that the whole season must be done in the same car.

answer is simple, the gobstopper "package" is unbeatable, though you wouldnt think so on a certain tuners website, how many seconds was same tuners car at oulton behind? just curious as thought there might be some competition

Hi,

Not sure if this is common knowledge but,

Olly is a good driver but just to show what the car can do, they did have a top BTCC driver try it out at Knockhill before the Time Attack event and inside 3 laps he went 2 seconds quicker than Olly could manage. He also said he though he could go a couple of seconds quicker with more setup time in the car.

the main issue is as i understand it there arn't many rules for the time attack cars, what keeps alot of championships, btcc etc close is the cars have set parameters, companies will catch up with gobstoper eventualy adn then the bar will go up even higher.

put it this way, i wouldn't complain cos all the technology and knowledge development that happens to the gobstopper and otehr TA cars will find it's way back to road cars so we can all enjoy it

so to all TA competitors out there, big and small, keep up the good work
