I got 311bhp from my my03 with an Andy F hybrid td04. With just a full decat! No lag at all.

VF35: better spool characteristics. Expect to pay 250-400.

Marty. I don't want to pi55 all over your bonfire mate, but your result is the exception rather than the norm. Even at that level your power and torque curve will fall off much more rapidly at higher rpm than a bigger blower, as you have to retard the boost on a 04 to stop it overheating!

Over 300 and a bigger turbo, even if only the Hybrid 04, is optimal....unless you're only concerned with low down grunt in which case the 04 is ideal!

VF35 will outspool the TD05 no question and will also be kinder to your gearbox!

I had a VF35 put on MY00 last year, it created so much more power my gearbox went bang within 2 weeks! Got it fixed and its been the best mod I've ever done, totally transforms the car. Recommend it.

Admit it, how many standing starts did you do/had you already done on that box?
