'Although the Japanese-market version is offered with a 2.0-litre petrol engine only, the fact that its underpinnings are shared with the Forester means Subaru’s recently developed boxer diesel could easily be installed. However, the range-topping GT model – featuring a 221bhp turbocharged petrol motor – is also likely to appeal to owners of the old Impreza Sportwagon.'
Can I be the first to say - no it isn't!

Exciting indeed.
They'd have to change the name too if it came here. I don't think Lotus' solicitors would be happy. Anyone know if Lotus markets the Exige in Japan and if so what they call it? It's weird why Subaru spend millions developing a new car and then can't think of an original name for it.
