Road Tax for Classic 97 sti import
As above, got my renewal throught the door a few days ago.
Was expecting the worst as I opened the letter.
Thankfully its not more expensive, due to the car being over 10 years old at time of import(therefore no SVA test to pick up the emissions).
97 sti, imported Nov/Dec 2007
6 months - £101.something pence.
12 months - £180.00
Which i believe is normal for a 2 litre of this age.
Still a lot of money to pay for **** roads which helps destroy my suspension tho.

Most classic imports are fine so long they were brought in before 26th march 2006 as the esva test was introduced to check the cars emissions.
Mine was brought in 13th march 2006, i breathed a huge sigh of relief lol.
So long as it's based on engine size and says plg on your v5 you're fine. [so far]
