Default Wheel offset Question fro big brake conversion

Hi,

I want to fit the Porsche big brake conversion to MY53. What is the minimun clearence i would need in terms of offset to clear the brakes at the front. I dont understand how the offset code is owrked out. I have seen some wheels that are stated as 100 x 5 ET48 offset. Any idea if this would be enough?

Thanks

Had porsche calipers on my integrale, they worked well.

I have gold bermbos on my classic and run with that offset.
But TBH its wheel design, well spoke design thats critical.

This should explain;
Technical Information

Why go to all the aggro of a porcshe type kit when AP racing is an off the shelf guaranteed fit? Yeah they look fancy but AP's do too.

Thanks for that information, i will look a bit more in depth. I have allready bought the brakes, they are sold as a Subaru addition as fitted to the type 25 and available as an aftermarket kit. I just needed to know today before i could bid on the wheels. I dont mind a gamble and a challenge! Thanks for your help
