Default Removing grill badge from blobeye.

Hi all. I seen a few pictures recently in members gallery of blobeyes with the grill badge removed. Whats the best way to go about doing it? I've removed the grill and it looks as simple as cutting the badge supports away then gently sanding down. Is there anything i can use to polish the area where the supports where after i've removed it or do you just have to put up with it looking a matt finish?

Cheers
Andy.

Tis done! Masked the area, cut out with hacksaw blade, file down, sand with progressively finer grades of sandpaper then final sand with very smooth grade using a wax polish to lubricate. Sorted .

Will post some up tomorrow. Am stuck in work now and cant get access to photobucket.

There are some pics of this on a blue saloon in members gallery, think the thread title is "somethings missing" or something like that.
