do classic IMPREZA's have pollen filters ??

answer 6 years too late never the less Yes they do. its located on the passenger side, below the glove compartment. 2 screws hold a long latch with grooves which totally comes away and inside are 2 rectangles like flat standard engine filter shapes. they slide out. mine are synthetic and i wash them. dont know if there are paper ones though.

interesting. mine is a standard 98 UK sport and it has compartment for pollen filter. I am not sure if it can filter out pollen because it is synthetic fibre and can be washed. I dont see any reason why i cannot adapt throw away filter into it, but i can live with pollen, even on the bicycle.

Upside is my glovebox is out as I'm remaking the loom due to years of stereo bodges and fitting new gauges to the shed so will have a butchers
