Default Show and shine

What wins a show and shine competition ??? Obviously if its clean , but if you wanted to see a top spec car in a competition would it be engine/bodywork/interior ???? just curious as my interior is standard spec and I have been told I stand no chance to win the ultimate car in the NBO due to this contributing factor??? plus mine is a normal car and isnt polished every hour
MIne is modified exterior plus dont get me started on the engine but as the cabin goes Is it worth bothering ?????

What i don't understand is...

The cars don't all turn up on trailors, so do all these owners take their own buckets and sponges and clean the cars once they get there?

I knew a lad with a show and shine scooby.
It got trailered everywhere. At one point it was trailered down to RCMS to have shiney new exhaust headers put on and then trailered back again so they didn't discolour from the heat.

Personally I don't see the point.

Enjoy driving it!!

i drive mine to all the shows and wash it there the only
thing id say about show & shine is that it takes (imho)
a lot more time and effort to keep a classic scooby
clean rather than a new age just because of the age
off the car
