Default ExhaustsUK / Cobra

Just wanted to say I purchased an exhaust from exhaustsuk.com and what a fantastic service I recieved.

I'm saying this because I think they might have had bad press and it's worthwhile posting good stuff as well....

anyhoooo...

I phoned them up but the main guy was unavailable the receptionist said he'd phone me back ....

and blimey he actually did 2 mins later.

Discussed what I wanted (A custom hybrid of two of their products)
with 4.5" tail 3" pipe / flame tip / slash cut ... gave me a price £190 delivered paid and hung up.

Wondered whether I needed a gasket and how the 3" would marry up to my 2.5" so phoned back again he was unavailable but phone back in 2 mins. Explained everything was included.

This was yesterday ..... all arrived today at 11.00 wrapped in 3-4" of bubble wrap... exactly as specified. For the money (basically the cheapest outside of fleabay knockoffs) the quality is outstanding nice welds mirror polished etc etc SOUNDS BLOOODY HAAAAAAMAZING (had a prodrive before from the PPP) !!!!

anyway I'd recommend them any day awesome service!!!!

I was considering getting an exhaust from these guys after reading a review in Jap Performance mag.

Have you any pics of your new exhaust?

Also, don't they do fitting? or is it mail order only?

Finally, how loud is your new system? I had an Afterburner Vortex backbox and centre section on my bugeye, and that was loud but not as loud as I wanted.

I had an exhaust supplied and fitted by these boys a few years ago. This was in Sheffield, the service and product were both fantastic.

I'll take a pic for you tomorrow.

They do do fitting but I mail ordered mine and got local shop to fit it £5-10 max !

Bear in mind mine is only a back box upgrade ... FKIN LOUD ... so if you were having the centre pipe done as well or straight through..... v v v loud I'd say. Put it this way there is no way i'd want it any louder at all but each to their own.

A contrary view. For those considering purchasing: Id suggest visiting and then taking it from there. Id sooner go without an exhaust than deal with these clowns. Terrible. Arrogant. Ignorant. Also: they didnt even have a mandrel bender, making a nonsense of their claims to manufacture anything.....

Sorry mate but unless they sub work out to someone else they managed to make mine within 24hours (I know this as I said mine was different to the standard models not charged me any more either) also not Terrible. Arrogant. Ignorant. in my dealing quite the opposite.

Did they have a madrel bender ..... dunno dont care.

What I care about is paying my money getting a quality product made to my exacting spec and delivered quickly. You may have just got a tit on a bad day who's been binned by his missus !!!
