I fitted one to my MY96 UK. Took only 30 minutes. Its easy.

I presume you have a Bailey type. If so all you do is take of the old one and replace with the new one, and blank off the connection on the rubber inlet hose to the turbo with the plug supplied.

There is ,however, various opinions on the BBS, that atmospheric venting valves are bad for your engine. I gotta say though that I have had one on mine for 9 months without probs.

How much was your Bailey dump valve and where did you get it from ?

I've got a UK MY96 as well and the dump valve noise from the K&N filter (i.e. standard recirculating) sounds like a wet fart. What sort of sound does the Bailey make ? quick and short ?

Any sound sample ?

Darren.

Wink

Get it converted to look like a Corolla at the front and people will think you've bought a spanking new Subaru.

Milky,

£98 inc VAT from Power Eng. The sound is pretty loud and the intensity depends on how you drive, ie if accelerating hard and you lift off quick it sounds loudest, and if you drive gentle and lift off slowly it is quiet.

Yeah..I agree with you..I once had an induction kit, with standard recirculating dump, and it sounded like a f*nny f*rt...
