You should be able to get a decent Elise for that money - R/S reg - market is still slow - Go and see some £14K ones and offer them 12 - walk away after leaving your details - they'll soon be biting off your hand-If you buy now and sell in around 4 months time you should loose nothing - you can then buy a scoobie as the family car - perfect for quick runs to the hospital as she thinks the baby is about to drop.
You will have then owned two of the best value sporting cars money can buy.

So as many of might know i've been on the lookout for my first impreza, this will my final fast car for a long while as i think that the time is nearing for the dreaded morgage ,kids ,bills--arrrhhhh that my girlfriend keeps nagging on about,so i want to finish off with something special. Before i am resigned to a life of driving a yaris packed with kids-oh no!!One last selfish act to go out on.So the ultimate question is;What do i buy????Obviously scooby sites gonna be slighlty biased, but i've heard alot of stories-elises ,scoobys,evo's,gt4's etc-what do YOU think that the final RUSH car should be?????Cheers Ryan-p.s budget of 12k

Whats your budgetm what do you want from it apart from performance. For me its the P1 closely followed by the Evo VI but that doesnt mean they are right for you.

My suggestion is to get an older subie, and as you have some extra $ to spend, just add mods. You can't beat the standard AWD in every Subaru, and the practically unlimited milage. I have 200,000 miles on mine and it's still going strong. I've only replaced my cv axles twice and a few minor things throughout its life time, and trust me... I USE my car. So just my .02$, but get a Subie.
