Default Bit of a bummer

Hi all,

I know the title of the thread sounds dodgy but it's not going down that avenue.

I'm in a dilemma at the moment in that I may have to sell my Scooby. I've been off work for around 10 days with Shingles (painful) and being self employed means that I have lost a bit of money and am therefore going to have to try to get that back somehow. I've had the car a couple of months and probably driven it under 10 times. I really do like the car but to be honest I haven't got that attached to it just yet so if it goes...it goes.

I have paid for a Cat 1 on it, I have just paid out for another 6 months tax on it and I am hardly driving it...seems like a waste of money doesn't it.

Any advice?

£300 p/day * 10 = £3000 lost.

£3000 / £20 per shot at the sperm bank. = 150 goes.

Should only take you a couple of months to regain the lost income, keep the scooby and have the bonus of hairy palms.

HaHa...Now THAT's an idea!!

Seriously though, I really aint sure what to do. Someone said to me a while back that they would have it off me if I decided to sell it. Not sure what to do.

Doesn't sound like you're too attached to it and i don't know if it's a special model/state of tune.

Get rid, pay the bills. If you pine after another one, you should be able to get the pick of the bunch with the current market. Especially in 6m time if you believe the fuel/tax prices are going to effect as many people as the forum suggests.
