Wet Carpet in mornin!!
#1
Dont know if anyones had this but when i start the car in the mornin after a good nights rain about a cup full of water runs straight down the middle of the passenger footwell. I've looked to see if anythings blocked by leaves but cant see anything. Any ideas much appreciated

There is a tube which drains from the sunroof area and exits by the inner front wing / door hinge area. I had trouble with the one on the drivers side which found its way to pointing into the footwell rather than down the outside.
You will have to take off the trim and lift the carpet to check but it does not take too long.
Can not think what else it could be.

****,
Try checking all the grommets in the engine bay, particularly the big one that aircon goes through - if you have aircon, check it's fully sealed in through that grommet, and if you don't, check the grommet is, erm, rammed home.
It only takes a little hole for a considerable amount of water to get in.
Nick.

Cheers for suggestions but unfortunately only a lowly Sport with no Air-Con or Sunroof!!
Was thinking along the lines of window seal or behind wiper motor but only seems to settle overnight in a hidden spot somewhere which i cant see !!!!!
Is there supposed to be a small hole at the rear corner of the chassis rail at the top where it joins the back of the engine bay either side???
Me thinks i'm rippin out interior this weekend !!

You need to get the b1tch house trained mate!
Check the door rubbers, and if you can move them round so the join is at the bottom as the water sometimes seaps through the join. Assume the Impreza is like this.
I have a leak in the boot I need to sort.. currently removed the plug under the spare wheels so at least there is no puddle.
