Why are black scoobs less noticeable?

The reason I ask is because everyone - everyone pulls out in front of me, all the time...
this morning a Volvo Driver.. straight out not even a thank you.... I don't mind if they pull out and pick up speed, but when you have to actually brake and come to a full stop on their bumper and they're still sat there doing nothing... it's fairly frustrating...
then further along - another one straight out no reason,
then near the school - another one ...
I'm beginning to think I've found the secret of invisibility and other scoobs never see me either....
I'm getting a complex

Try driving with your lights on (regardless of weather) for a few days and see if there is an improvement.
I had trouble with a black motorcycle in the same way, and ended up making sure my next bike was red!

Driving with the lights on does help reduce the problem, but it doesn't eliminate it.
Adam there is an issue with your theory, it assumes that the people pulling out are actually paying attention and not just turning their head from side to side!
If you think black is mad you should try dark GREEN... completely invisible, especially to other scoobs!

the problem is with Volvo drivers not you:
They are universally dopey old gits who routinely pull these stunts in their ugly tanks. The most dangerous vehicles on the road by far. I never get anywhere near a Volvo if I can help it.

Yes driving a Volvo is an imprisonable offence
Joke apart it's not just Volvo drivers it always happens except at night then all cars look black... maybe that's the answer .. only drive at night...

I do agree with you Pen, some people seem to ignore the blackbeast, which is odd considering it's not exactly subtle, either in looks or sound! Odd thing is that I've got myself into the regime of driving with my side lights on all the time.
maybe some flashing blue lights on the roof would help us out?

My other 1/2 was invisible, to quote the other driver:
"I just did not see you"
so she pulled out directly in front of the scoob and >BANG<
Ive sold the black un now and got a sonic blue one....so far so good...
