I'm in Newquay for the weekend (yep, I've taken the spare lappy), its the RTTS (Run To The Sun) weekend which I didn't realise, already seen some lovely scoobies who have already been to the event as they have the logos RTTS 2008 on the windows doing the rounds on the main hight street in Newquay. The amount of modded cars from the ridiculous to the open mouthed look in amazement just cruise all through the town, its ike a huge all day possesion that doesn't end, there are the Ford pops to buggies with V8's in, the sounds are great. Im within about half a mile of the main run and all you can hear is the cars doing their stuff, heard at least 5 scoobs going past, quietly of course .
Weather has been kind today about 19 with Sun til about 1pm, now a tad overcast but the show still goes on.. Going back down town tonight to see whats going on, its a 3 day event I think so plenty more to come.. Anyone else been to this event ?

I would have gone today but the car looks gash without the splitter got another on the way but that's a week away.

I saw loads of the VW Campers yesterday travelling down to it on the M5.
We are celebrating RTTS with Rum To The Sun where you have/supposed to drink Rum all day tomorrow.
