Any GX people replaced their Backbox???
As a few of you may know, i've had my much loved car now for a couple of months. 1 thing i've always been a bit disappointed with is my lack of scooby grumble, i just thought i could fix it by just buying a new backbox! (me being me!) I've made a few enquiries this week and it turns out (as advised by ScoobyClinic) that unfortunately i'm not gonna get it. I'm gutted!!!
I'm not gonna go out and buy a WRX just yet so is there anything i can do at all?
Perhaps some of you have gone into this with theirs??
I have heard a fairly decent sounding GX when i was in Wales earlier in the year but didn't get chance to speak to the owner.
Thumbs up to ScoobyClinic for not ripping me off and not grabbing my money and leaving me disappointed.

This reminds me of a local exhaust fabrication garage round our way. They have a big sign over the counter that says, PLEASE DON'T EMBARASS US BY EXPECTING US TO MAKE YOUR VAUXALL CORSA SOUND LIKE A SUBARU IMPREZA. Always makes me chuckle

Normally aspirated headers are slightly more equal in length than turbo headers this is why you don't get the burble whatever system you fit on... The n/a guy's acheive the burble by fitting Borla headers that are more unequal length as far as I'm aware it's the only way you will get the sound you are looking for
