Hope they don't get marked when the tyres are being fitted.

Any reason you are not having 215's fitted?

They are going on my classic and 225/55's rubbed pretty badly so I didn't want to risk it.

225/55's I'm not suprised. Tracor tyres.

215 40's are recommended for classics even when the car is lowered.

I went with budget tyres, £200 for 4 tyres fitted. 205/45/17. On hind site I could have ad 215 but 205 are perfect for me.

All that expence and exitement of re-furbed wheels and you go and put a set of "Budget" tyres on them!!!

Fitted?

If you can get them for that price you are better man than me mate.

Who do you go through?

@ JohnD i'm not made of money mate and the mileage I do budget tyres are fine. If you want I can PM you my bank details and you can transfer me the extra dough for better quality tyres if it helps you sleep better.....

Yeah I thought that too.

I took those early photos with the wheels in the car itself when I first picked them up so the light would have a been a little different.

Having said that the Blue of the car against the grey gives them impression that they are darker I spose.
