JUst had my alloys re-sprayed and am gettign new tyres this Saturday!!
Excited!!
Took a while choosing the colour and I am SO happy with the result.
Can't wait to see them on the car.

Hope they don't get marked when the tyres are being fitted.
Any reason you are not having 215's fitted?

They are going on my classic and 225/55's rubbed pretty badly so I didn't want to risk it.

Yeah there is a local body shop coach works that did them.
£80 for 4 wheels which i didn't think was to bad.

I'm not suprised. Tracor tyres.
215 40's are recommended for classics even when the car is lowered.

Yeah the STI alloys I bought came with those tyres on so.....

I went with budget tyres, £200 for 4 tyres fitted. 205/45/17. On hind site I could have ad 215 but 205 are perfect for me.

@ JohnD i'm not made of money mate and the mileage I do budget tyres are fine. If you want I can PM you my bank details and you can transfer me the extra dough for better quality tyres if it helps you sleep better.....

Yeah I thought that too.
I took those early photos with the wheels in the car itself when I first picked them up so the light would have a been a little different.
Having said that the Blue of the car against the grey gives them impression that they are darker I spose.
