You're paying for the skill of the mapper. Cheapest is not bestest.

I'd say between £500-£650 for the License and remap. Stoneface what map does Dave do? If it's of West Midlands may be interested. ;-)

Had mine done for £500 inc VAT as part of a group buy. That was for proper on road mapping which took a good few hours. For Ecutek the license alone is about £350 so not a lot of money to the mapper in that one. Ecutek isn't cheap for that reason.

Anti lag: real anti-lag will destroy your turbo in no time at all though (most people have a v. mild setting that gives them pops on the over run). A turbo that will stand up to aggressive anti lag would cost more than a new Impreza! The launch control feature is more useful, if your gearbox can cope with it, most cant though. A gearbox that can stand repeated standing launch-controlled starts would probably cost as much as.....

i was indeed referring to the mild anti lag, for f.u.n. times and laughter. something less detrimental on ones turbocharger, what.

I only saw Rave Cheetah on the launch night at Arena Essex... Rave Dolphin still emails me though.
