Recently replaced my springs with Prodrive items, for WRX 05. The modified bump stops were missing from the box, which the dealer had to then order from Prodrive (I had already taken the front struts off when I discovered this). The REAR springs are fine, they fit perfectly and I can feel the rear suspension feels 'right'. The rear springs also have a clear plastic type shrink wrap around the bottom 2 coils of the spring, to alleviate, I presume, any knocking sounds. The FRONT springs dont have this, also the 2 coils at the top of the front springs are actually touching when looking under the front wheel arches. None of the coils should be touching, surely?

Finally, the kind of knocking sound the front springs are making over bumps is so bad that it sounds like the whole front suspension is going to fall apart, plus the ride at the front is ROCK HARD and extremely uncomfortable, it doesn't feel 'right'.

What do you think? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
