Well, they've got one in at B&C, quite a serious wing on it!
The best bits though are the side sills, very and the lower front bumper aka WRC style.
You'll definitely be noticed in one of these!

Hi Rum,
A bit off the thread I'm afraid, but I'll need a quote for a MY02 WRX 5 door soon - can I have your contact details please? Sorry to misuse the thread.....
Oh - and why do we seem to get the worst of everything up here? Late STi's - violence towards fellow Scooby owners and so on?

Northern folks being ignored ?
There was a Prodrive STi delivered to the Aberdeen dealer on Tuesday afternoon. I looked over it yesterday lunchtime. Agree with Alex about the "serious" rear wing.
The sills didn't look much different in the press photos, but they look great on the car itself.
The front bumper looks a lot "cleaner" and less fussy than the standard one. I originally preferred the looks of the standard one, but having seen the Prodrive version in the flesh, I must admit it is growing on me. The only downside is that you can't fit driving lamps to the Prodrive version, without some major work and losing the covers.

Hmm.. how about transparent replicas of the covers for the Prodrive version.. ?
The only think I think wasn't as good, is the grill, the standard STi grill looks more agressive IMHO...

I think a solution to the driving lamp "problem" will be developed at some point.
I actually preferred the front grille of the Prodrive version. The standard one overhangs the front bumper, and would attract dirt, grit, dead flies etc and be a nightmare to keep clean without scratching the bumper. There is also a sensor with wires in the front lower part of the bumper, and this is quite well hidden in the Prodrive version, but looks more exposed in the standard version.

I was in Robinsons in Rochdale a couple of weeks ago and they had sold one or it was waiting for customer to collect. They had found out the IM allocations dept were supplying customer orders before dealers demo cars - might be why you don't see many in showrooms at the mo?
