Default AM LOOKING AT SELLING MY WAGON......ANY ADVICE?

As the title states I am having to sell my pride and joy for making up a deposit for a house.

Prepare to take less than what you want for it.

High petrol prices and the huge amount of Impreza's up for sale mean that people are either put off by the high running costs or they have such a huge number to chose from that your's will have to be mint to sell.

Buyers market these days.

I'd try lying and say it does 50mpg.

As per the 1970s oil crisis, people are looking for value and affordability rather than outright performance at the moment.

Hate to say it, but if someone offered 3 grand I'd bite their arm off. If you do a lot of miles I'd suggest you could be better off by sticking it on eBay with a reserve of about £2000 and crossing your fingers. With the price of fuel as it is you will quickly recoup the few hundred quid you might eventually get by hanging on for a better offer. Sorry.
