Default newage STi 350bhp + owners show yourselfs :)

I just wondered how many MY03-MY05 STi Owners are running 350bhp + and with what mods/spec.

Trying to get a real world answer from owners rather then theorising or trying to slap a load of components together to come up with prospective bhp figures.

Thanks.

Another one here (03STI). For the sake of brevity, I'll list only the main mods:

- MD321H Turbo
- Power Enterprise 650cc injectors
- Hyperflow Cold Air Induction Kit
- GT Spec Tubular headers
- Milltek 3" exhaust with sports cat
- 3 Port Boost Solenoid
- Walbro 255l p/hr Fuel Pump
- Hyperflow TMIC
- Paul Blamire map for 10% methanol plus splas of NF
- AST type 25 suspension kit with modified valving plus solid top mounts
- Performance friction brake discs and pads to stop the bloody thing!

No RR figures but a quick delta-dash showed around 345bhp at the wheels. It's quick...

Sounds good, did you get the TD05 from andy forrest as well? I take it the custom up-pipe is to suit this turbo?

Is there much lag with this setup? do you mind if i ask how much the turbo and mapping set you back?

Sounds good, did you get the TD05 from andy forrest as well? Yes

I take it the custom up-pipe is to suit this turbo? Nope. It's from Harvey, who ported the headers.

Is there much lag with this setup? Not as much as others. I compromised peak figures for the sake of spool, so it's a more driveable everyday car.

Do a search, there's a thread i started with spool times for the 18g. Much quicker than these GT30 boys

do you mind if i ask how much the turbo and mapping set you back?
Turbo £950, Mapping £650 (1st time to include license), £150 thereafter.

360bhp at the mo but going in for a remap at Zen in a couple of weeks and AVCR hoping for 370 - 380 bhp and torque 340 - 360 (I have the 18G). ON 1.35bar. Midrange is great hoping to up the boost a bit and get the low rev map sorted..

Currently it handles right, stops right, looks right, drives right (except the low rev map).

Mods in my profile. After this (maybe a couple of years) would be a 2.5 eng transplant and 321 for 450/450
