Default My new car

So happy! Finally got my first scoobie!
It's a my06 wrx in crystal grey!

Overall I am very happy with it, a big improvement on my old car, but also have a few minor issues with it

Firstly, what's with the immobiliser? If you don't start the engine within like a minute after unlocking the car with the fob you have to lock/unlock for it to fire up! Anyone else find this a hassle?

Secondly, I'm not really liking the trim with the greyish cloth! Much prefer the interior in the other newages!
Basically, I think the previous owner may have let his dog ride with him beause there are a few hairs here and there on the seat... also because I've had to use a couple of magic trees to get rid of an unwanted odour!

Other than this, the car is pretty much perfect!!
But can anyone tell me, if there are any products to CLEAN THE SEATS with???...there are a few nasty stains on the back seat that need to be rid of

Will try and get some pics of the car up tommorow if its sunny, real crappy weather today

Welcome, if your not quick enough disarmiming the immobilizer when you get in the car turn the ignition on then press your button to deactivate the immobilizer only then turn to crank. As for your seats Try Autoglym interior shampoo with hot water that should shift the annoying stain.

Cool. With give the immobiliser thingy a go tommorow.

scoobyhunt07;
Will try get some photos tommorow, hopefully it'll be sunny, unlike today!

deangtiuk;
Just checked out the autoglym website and their hi-foam shampoo.
How is the product used? Do you just foam it up and leave it to soak into the seats? or do you have to rinse it out?? sorry for sounding like a numpty, but never had to wash the seats in my old car, just wiped them down with a cloth since they were leathers!

LOL @DYK

Yeah you spray it onto the seats leave it for a minute then wipe off if the stain is still there tryusing a little nail brush to ease it out but be careful not too pull the thread on the material.
