Default Mul t Locks?

hi
Just been reading a thread on disklocks which i found interesting. Just wondering what everyone's experiences/opinions are of mul t locks? I've had one on everycar I've had until a couple ago when I just never got round to having it put back on (and it was only a ford fusion! almost wanted it to be stolen...!). So anycase, I've still got it and thinking about having it put on the scoob. I know these USED to be decent locks when I got it, but what's their reputation like now?

If anyone's not sure what they are, thnk they're like Defend Lock that lock your gearstick in one place.

Cheers

Google Image Result for http://www.afs-securitysystems.com/images/truck-gear.jpg

Just did a quick search - it's a long url, but it's one of these things.
What you reckon? I'm not familiar with DIPOL gear locks.

Dipol and Mul-t-locks are brilliant. Theyll stop someone from driving your car away; unfortunately they provide little deterrant, as theyre difficult to see and not particularly widely known about...

Further to that: the Dipol is far more discrete, which is both good and bad. At least with the Mul-t-lock (which they havent developed at all in the last 15+ years!) you can see it there, so it provides some deterrent at least.

yep, can see your point. Although you can see the mul t locks, they're not too in your face (great cosmetically, but I take your point about detterents).
Think I need to be finding somewhere local to fit it for me soon.

Cheers for the replies.

The Dipol is the stronger, better of the two.
