what do you think of these cars wrx300
im getting fed up looking for a sti so might go and see one of these what do you think??
are they a match for the sti?

I think the '300' bit refers to the number they made not the BHP ? As far as I know it's a WRX with the Prodrive performance pack (265 BHP ?) and some cosmetic differences like the STi style seats. Unless it's a lot cheaper than the STi, I wouldn't bother.

 

the one on that link cannot be a UK300 as it has normal WRX trim, there is nothing wrong with a WRX though, but if you have your sight set on an sti then wait till the right one comes up, I chose a WRX as I felt it was more suitable for what I wanted.

 

Looks like a stickered up wrx. You could get a Hawkeye for not much more than that. Are there not plenty of 2nd hand Sti's around?

 

I'm not even sure they had PPP, I saw one at a dealer it had stickered up fog lights covers, special edition blue seats and not much else over a WRX. The 300 I think is models made like that not the bhp.

 

The WRX300 was a MY05 limited edition (of 300) and was basically a PPP'd WRX. They were only available in blue with gold wheels, and had a few interior and exterior changes too. If the one in the advert really started off as a WRX 300 then it has had a lot changed, which in my view would be a bit pointless. Of course the stated date/reg on the advert would be wrong too.

Typical rubbish dealer advert from a dealer who doesn't know what they have or can't be bothered.
