OOOOOOOO! Am I P'd off, Ideas please
Are you sitting comfotably? Good then I'll begin.
Got out of work this afternoon to find someone has keyed my Scooby. Talk about steaming!! Funny thing though, two cars down from mine was my next-door (down stairs) neighbours L-reg bomb of a Kia pride (pride, now that's a laugh!).
I don't get on that well with the Wife of the couple, I'm a smoker but don't smoke in the flat, I go to the yard down stairs. She's slammed doors, shouted through her letter box and sprayed air freshener at me through the letter box and generaly acted like a five year old. He's spoken to me once or twice and asked me to fully close the door or push his window to when I light up, and I do. They don't know where I work (they do now) and the tile shop next door said there were people trying to bump start the Pride () earlier in the afternoon.
So, Was it her, or him? how do I deal with it? all answers (sensible or not) gratefully recived.

It's hard to comprehend the mentality of people that stoop to such levels,I've never understood it and always considered it a frustrated random act by imbeciles.
On the other hand if it's a premeditated attack it really does show how low and gutless people can be,they seem like the kind of people that need medical attention or perhaps mental assesments.
You must pi55 yourself when she shouts through the letterbox, what would their friends think(if they had any)?,fkin brilliant,I've got neighbours who's boy is a trainee ASBO hours of fun.
They've hit you where they know it will hurt as I don't know any Scooby owner who doesn't take pride over the condition of their car,it's the only way they can get at you and supposedly get away with it.
There's loads of ways to get them back, after you've made sure/certain it was them, think about it revenge is sweet but don't put yourself in the line of fire with the law etc.
Try this first, can they see their car from their flat window?..if they can drop something under their car and make it obvious that you're scurrying around underneath get up and move to the other side, give them ample time to see you, take your time but retrieve your wallet,keys,whatever...then stand back out of view and see what happens.
If they did it they will be waiting for revenge, bide your time and think about it,plenty to do and it's fun....

Crikey if it was them its pretty bloody stupid to park their car two away from yours - a bit of a give away!!! I wouldnt do anything too rash mate just in case, if its not them you dont want it to all get out of hand. Or of course kick their heads in as stated in the posts above just to be on the safe side

Don't attack them or their car. They may be waiting for retaliation and could have witnesses to your attack. Meaning it's you that looks bad in the eyes of the law.
Do nothing for at least 6 months.
Then:-
Are they on benefits?
You can make there life a misery and they won't know it's you. If they're on benefits report them to the DSS for working. If they're not it starts a ball rolling that could make their life hell.
Get on the internet. apply for everything in their name. Car brochures, holidays, housing developments, catalogues, anything you can think of, apply for. They'll get inundated with sh*te.
Pizza deliveries, taxi's etc
I got conned by some bloke last year (November) that really p1ssed me off. He did me out of £70. Unfortunately for him I know his name, address & telephone number. If there is a new appartment complex going up in Brazil, he now gets a brochure on it. He'd had half the car manufacturer's brouchures. The other half will follow shortly.
I'll never get my money back, but he must dread looking on his doormat every morning. Not to mention all the phone calls he gets.
Revenge is better when they don't know who it is, or at least can't be sure.

A mate had his brand new Audi S5 keyed a couple of weeks ago and I felt sick never mind the way he felt. Some serious scum bags out there who do this sort of thing for no reason. At least you think you have a potential candidate to get back, I'm sure he wishes he did. Still - don't do anything too hasty, just lay a few traps to see if they are on the guard....

As others have said, I would call their bluff and then walk away, let em fume - also make sure you record the conversation in case they admit keying your car in which case go round to your local plod and get em nicked.
