Which model?????
Hi everyone
I'm in a bit of a dilema, soon i'm going to be looking to purchase me a car and i can't decide whether to go for the older model Impreza (w/x REG) or go for the next model along, around the 02/03 plate. The Impreza i had (w reg) sounded awesome and it was a great car and the only mods i added were an afterburner exhaust which sounded amazing and a bargain priced dump valve, which too sounded good but not obtrusive to granny doing her shopping thinking a blue whale had just surfaced for air!!!,but apart from that it was a standard turbo2000 uk car. Anyway,my budget isn't that expansive so i was wondering and would appreciate any views off you guys out there, which model would be best for upgrading slightly as a general package,by which i mean a little more power??
Thanks for takin the time to read this and if you can spare a reply i'd be grateful.

if you have a limited budget i would go for something like a classic type-r as there going a bit cheaper now, we looked at a bugeye sti but decided on a classic type-r always prefered the classic shape for some reason! the type-r is a good starting base already very capable as standard!

I am kinda swayed to the classic as i also think that authentic scooby sound cant be replicated with the newer models...i may be wrong but i'm yet to hear one??lol
Plus if i go for a classic model i may have a few pennies left over for a couple of mods??
It's basically value for money isn't it......some hound for ya pound

Thanks for all ur replies folks,i drive a Boxer van at the moment but my last car was a classic standard turbo 2000,looks like i'll be sticking to the classic model then judging by the costs and peoples comments. I'll be using the car just for personal pleasure, not too many long miles just, picking up my son and ferrying myself about of an evening...if i can put my Stella down and get out my comfy chair...lol.... a classic it is then!!! Thanks guys
