The world oil price has dropped somewhat.

There is no change in the Tax take.

The comment this week that, in addition to srapping the proposed 2p increase in Oct., this numeracy dyslexic* government could in fact afford to reduce the fuel tax by up to 9p due to the enormous extra revenue they've been raking in as the profiteering oil giants increase prices, is something the Tories should leap on? Or is soaking the motorist their policy,too?
