Newbie with new car advice
Hi, I'm looking to buy a 2004+ WRX.
I know there are lots of euro imports out there due to car supermarkets such as motorpoint, motordepot etc etc
Is there anyway of telling if a car is imported or not? Any tell-tale signs?
I have seen some very cheap hawkeye which I believe to be imported (although some dealers admit this, some sell them as UK cars).
I don't actually mind buying an import, I just don't want to be paying over the odds for one and being ripped off by a dealer.
Also, I have seen some Aqua Blue WRX, are these the same colour as the WR1?
Finally, anyone ever bought a car from a dealer who does not have an actual forecourt and only arranges viewings by appointments? Are these trustworthy? I usually buy from a dealer with premises.
Thanks. Advice greatly appreciated.

Welcome mate
whats you're budget? (if thats not too rude a question)
They have a few nice wrx's up at redline racing
Redline Racing Motor Group - Quality used sports and specialist vehicles
I've never bought from a dealer without premises but it wouldn't put me off, I get the impression its more specialist dealers who do that, why waste money on a forecourt if your selling a car people will travel to see, very different to selling "normal cars"
good luck with the search anyway
I'll leave your other questions to the experts on here, I don't know anything about anything
