Ally rad or std replacement.

Ally rad or std replacement.
Found out why Im using a bit of water, 90% sure that the rad is failing. Not enough to leak when not in use or cause a problem but I think its just enough to let the pressure out.
Anyway I'm thinking about an ally replacement over a std one. As I thought the price would be about the same but it seems a std is not as expensive. And I want a straight swap, with no drama. Im more than happy with the std one. Even leaking it has no problems maintaining the cars temperature.
What reconmendations can other people give me?
What ally rads are the ones to go for?
And I dont like shiny.
