Interesting twist on the UK vs Euro Import debate
OK, so im selling the car, and when I was talking about buying it was warned about buying a Euro import due to the shocking depreciation on them.
However, on calling round places interested in buying cars etc... I have found something quite suprising.
The difference in money offered for a Euro import, compared to a UK sourced car is..................
£400
Even in the private sales, the difference is much smaller than the gap in the original purchase price.
So therefore, I am happy with my original decision to buy a Euro import lol
Just thought I would share that

But if you're buying an Euro import (I'm considering a MY08 sti from Graham Walker in Chester - imported from Cyprus they say), isn't your waranty invalid?
Sorry for the stupid question - I'm new to this lark.

May be better deals at "Car supermarkets" on Parrallel EU imports that carry the 3 year Warranty IMHO
There were offering Top Spec EU Cars at same price as std Spec'd UK ones IIRC

The main trouble at the moment is that the 08 car is selling far better than they anticipated so the great deals that were about to get Volume throughput are now gone
