Grrr broke my box again
Second time in a year, only drove it twice this year and it has to come out again I'm guessing it's done the woodruff key on 5th again as they were smaller on the early boxs. And to cap it off the aircon pump seized solid and one of the front brakes is binding.
If anyone has a type RA box in one piece give me a shout please.

If you have done this twice now, then you must be running more power than std or you are on the track.
You will be running a 4mm woodruff key on 5th, so the fix is to strip the box & fit a late driven shaft with the 5mm key and then have 5th gear spark erroded so it fits a 5mm key.
For serious power you can add a second key 180 deg out from the first one.

yeah andy. stop taking all them drugs (jk) and with the monies saved, get yourself a ppg jobby.
for the record david @ api built me a recon gearbox for £900 as you may remember. if anything a mountain of knowledge.
could also try jase @ scoobybits as he sometimes gets low mileage boxes in from newages etc.

Alyn @ AS Performance sorted me out at very short notice for the SSO last year. Later TY754 UK box, with the jap diff's.
Still going strong now, with "daft" standing starts. Mine doesn't have DCCD, which your's probably does though.

Cheers no DCCD. I may have sourced one with DCCD but will whip it off and run the viscous diff.
