I think this is a great way to show how Diesels are good! and not just smokey relations of Buses.

I read in some Diesel car magazine recently about a Superchips 330D - otherwise standard. I don't know if they are killers of BMW engines as well, but the figures looked quite impressive - over 200bhp, but absurd amounts of torque (>300lbft I think) - ingear times were down by 25-30%. As I remember 30-70 was about 6.5s - so maybe still second off a UK Scoob. I presume this one is standard - did Tiffany not take on Jason Plato 330D vs 328 and the 328 won just? The whole thing would be pushed in favour of the BM if the Scooby driver didn't stay on the boil. And the std UK scooby's top end is not it's best asset also. Would be interesting.

All,
This will be sorted out in the coming months. I suggest that maybe a track day might even be better than Bruntingthorpe!!
I'm not expecting to kick Scooby ***, but I don't reckon that the German Oil Guzzler will be left too far behind ( Oh, and I'll be doing 40 MPG at the same time. LOL )
Cheers,
Matt
