Tbh mate, I don't spend more than 2 hours on it, and it comes up nice, but being in black, and our weather...takes some cleaning, sometimes 2 x per week at least.

Hose it down

2 bucket cleaning method

rinse with hose

Dry

apply liquid wax

Buff it tooooo foooook

Jobs a good un.

Tbh, if someone cannot make their car sparkle as good as any within that time then **** knows what their doing to it.

Not having a dig, but id like to know what some manage to spend 7 hours doing? Does this include inside and out, and underneath or what?

Mi engine bay aint too bad, but im a bit apprehensive about degreasing it, I can just imagine a nice big repair bill as im hosing it down and then realising Ive not covered the electrics.....

wash
clay
dry
wheels/archs cleaned and sealed
shuts cleaned and dressed
engine bay cleaned and dressed
polish with megs DA
sealent
wax
glass
tyres dressed
interior- hoover/plastics washed/plastics dressed

the thing is detailing is about just that the attention to detail. Thats what makes it diffrent to a valet or a simple wash and its all the little things that take time that make the diffrence to the final finish.

the likes of polished bliss will take like 15 hours on just machine polishing but the end result will be 99.9% correction and better than it came off the production line
