Getting 500 - 550bhp engine build, so what times should i expect on drag strip with a good start etc ! car lighter than standard classic WRX been on bit of a diet so any ideas people

I know someone with roughly the same spec but a stripped out Bugeye Spec C and he ran at 11.35!!!! so yours should be a little bit quicker i would imagine

thats what im aiming for, about 11.30 as i want to win that class at shootout or be in the top ten is a 10.9 possible at that BHP

From scratch maybe 16k plus if you have somebody do it for you, but i guess you could do it cheaper if you source the parts yourself, SC450 package at scoobyclinic is about 14k all in that includes ppg straight cut box, so i guess the SC550 package is a bit more, i really only needed 2.33 close deck block & RA or STI4 heads and turbo and a few other bits. already had most things that is also needed but these all come with packages, ie ECU,FMIC,TURBO,CLUTCH,EXHAUST,E-BOOST2,INJECTORS,HEADERS, the list goes on and i beleve they are time attack proven engines to

But dont quote me on these prices as they are just estimates.....

I don't think you could get a 550bhp car for £16k when you are paying other people to do the work !!
