It's been proven a couple of times,except that it's not washable.I have a K+N myself,don't make a jot of difference tho

They filter no where near as good as the std paper though so performance vs filtration id stick with the std paper one.

I've got a K&N panel filter on mine (MY00). It was service time and needed it changing so thought, for the money it's a good option and it's washable. Haven't noticed any difference at all over the standard one mind
