Default Confirm my sti PPP ecu.

Hi as above i've just purchsed my 03 sti with PPP and would like to know that it defo has the PPP kit fitted. I've got the certificat and the backbox is thier but they are easy to change. I've looked at the ecu and it has no stickers on it but has black felttip writing on it say STIPD then a bunch of numbers on it. Does this mean it been fitted? Also had a look at my fuel pump but the top was dirty and don't know what differences to look for. It sounds quiet loud though.

Many thanks

Call Subaru UK (number on the web, 0121 something from memory) and ask to speak to Customer Service.

Give them the reg number of the car and any other details they ask for and they will be able to confirm whether the car is registered with a PPP.

Good luck!

Have a look for the heat wrapped high flow cat below the turbo.
It's rather large and it must have this as part of the ppp.

My PPP ECU had my name on it, in felt! Do those letters co-incide with the last owners name at all?
