went in to the dealers where i got my car from yesterday motordepot (all brands new) in hull and asked for a price for my 53 plate wrx they told me to hold my breath as its a biggie ,i told them ill probably go to a specialist then if it doesnt affect my current 2 year warranty they said thats fine how much is the service at that garage i said around 390-400 he told me they would do a full 60k service for £270 including the vat .i know i can trust them as they sell and service alot of scoobs they had some new wrx's and sti's in i was speaking to a salesman and he said they had 30 sti's in the warehouse in stock and had already sold quite a few .

is £270 a good price for a newage 60k service

Hmmmm thats extremely cheap, what are they missing off? cambelt? which is pretty expensive, but 400 quid is also pretty reasonable for a 60k service.

had cambelt done at 50k and that service was £300 including belt

The local sub dealers are always gonna be through the roof prices,its mostly down to the fact that you are supposed to get peace of mind leaving it with them.I opted out of that option and went to a highly praised sub specialest.In fact i got his number from the local dealers!!!he done the highly feared 30000 mile service for half the price of the dealers and as i've posted on here before about this,he fitted new white side lights and new wipers for fee!! You can rest assured subaru wont give you nout for nout.Dont just stick with them for the stamp.
