can cars with abs still skid??? if its raining and road is wet??

reason i'm asking is because a van pulled out on me today and i'm sure it did lock up!!! i had to take my foot off and re-apply

Now, If all 4 wheels lock at the same time, then you can skid,
There would need to be something wrong with your brakes bias though for all4 to lock up, it can be done on snow,
