Question 60000 miles/6 Year Service

As I don't have my service book to hand as I'm away, can someone have a look and tell me whats inspected and replaced during the 60000 mile/6 year service on a MY02 STi UK.

Cheers, Rob.

Yeah I got quoted £450 + Vat by Christopher Neil for my WRX . Think i would rather give it to Scooby clinic or someone like that for that price.

My 02 STI has just had its 6 year service a few months before I bought it. Its only on 32k miles and I have a receipt and paper work for £1450 from a dealer (that was with new rubber all round as well) . The guy who sold it apparently couldnt afford to run it any more. Cant think why!

If you want a detailed breakdown of what was carried out let me know as I have all the paper work.

I think thats a similar story to the previous owner of mine - middle aged, had only had it for a year and told the dealership that "he just fancied a change"; on talking to the guys in the local dealership his 50k service cost him £1800 because he had new discs and pads all round!

Blimey, my local Subaru place quoted £350 + VAT and they'd knock 10% off for SIDC membership. Suggest some of you chaps come to Scotland to get the book stamped, still be up after petrol and beer!

Is it just the fluids that make up the cost mainly or the labour??

Any got a schedule they could send me so I can see what is involved? Mine is due soon as well and the 50k service cost approx £800 which I thought was cambelt and the biggie... now the 60k is a biggie as well!

50k is the cambelt £300+VAT from Grieves so you are being ripped off (well that's belt only and assumes tensioner doesn't need to be replaced)

The 60k is basically the big service you should have every 20k it just happens to follow the cambelt service.

I have just been quoted >£600 for a 60,000 mile service on my 54 reg WRX from Welch Group Subaru in Cambridge. Breaks down as ~£250 of parts and ~£280 labour plus VAT. They've quoted on the basis of spark plugs, oil filter, air filter, gearbox oil, diff oil, and engine oil being changed. Sounds a little steep to me.
