Default Car feels 'funny' after fitting deres centre pipe

Has anyone else experienced this? I recently fitted a Hayward & Scott deresonated centre pipe. I already had an Afterburner Vortex backbox fitted. Ever since fitting the centre pipe I've felt like the car has been slightly hesitant, or not quite as powerful as before.

I suspect it might all be in my mind (I took the car to a local mechanic who checked it over and agreed there were no leaks or anything) but I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem like this?

Should be the opposite, less restriction and more noise.

I had done the same thing bar having a H&S back box, car feels fine/better, alot more noise. Maybe thats what your feeling or think your feeling, cos of the change in noise.

I am guessing the rest of the exhaust is standard i.e. still have cats fitted?

I think this could all be in your mind fella, I live literally a stones throw away from you in Ingleby as you know and I have a similar set up on MY07 Sti without any issues.

Think I passed you on 'the new road' into Ingleby from Preston Farm around 4 days ago, you were on the inside in that HUGE queue around the 5.30pm mark, I couldn't be bothered waiting in that beast, I'd of run out of fuel!!

I commented to the wife about that naughty Scoob giving us STI drivers a bad name I never come back that way at that time normally, don't know how I ended up in it.

Aye, you should have nipped out behind me and saved yourself 10 minutes.

Any further issues with the exhaust system?
