Anyone else here dumb enough to keep 1/2 l. of oil with the spare tyre?
Tip of the day - make sure lid is screwed on tight - or you'll be screwed

 

done it years a go least if you have a water leak and you dont realise it for a while there will be an effective barrier

I managed to do it with a 4 litre can of oil. Was a tadge worried when I pulled in to my drive and saw a trail of oil following me down the road, till I realised it was very clean oil, and not hot, and coming from the drain hole in the boot. Took bloody ages to clean out the car and get the oil out of the block paving :-(

 

Been there, done that. Oddly, I can't remember why I put the remains of a litre bottle of oil in the spare wheel well in the first place. Certainly won't do it again!

ditched the carpet and wooden liner..

got the pi55 ripped out of me for ages too.....lol

still stinks a bit now, but adds to the authentic rally atmos...
