Help with speakers....!!
Guys, i need some help with changing my front speakers ('98 facelift)
Basically, ive confused myself... i want to upgrade the stock front speakers, but by the look of it, i already have tweeters just by my door handle, so what sort of speakers do i need to get? 1 way / 2 way , if i get 2 way's will i still run the existing tweeter etc etc ??

But do you really have tweeters? My MY00 has the small grill by the handles but there was sod all there when I took the panel off. I managed to fit some 6" Infinities in the front and some 4.5" (I think) in the back of my wagon, but to do it took extensive use of the Dremel in the back to remove the plastic reinforcing on the grills due to clearance issues and re-drilling of mounting holes in the front. There's basically not a lot of room and you could probably use the speaker wires to cut cheese they are that thin. Sound is in a different league with an Alpine header than the ****e standard fitment with it's paper speakers and to look at the doors you'd never know it wasn't original. A good result but a lot of time and effort to keep it professional.

without sounding big headed, i think i did everything the easiest way, especially using the original wire plug. everything was kept neat and oem looking.
