I have just bought a Samsung HT-THX 25 digital home cinema system.

I have connected this through scart to my TV.

Anyway this is where the problem starts.... DVD's etc play fine in the system and the sound is fine... but if I am just watchin TV then the sound does not come out of the cinema system speakers.... if this correct or should I be able to listen to my TV channels through the cinema system???

It is connected as per instructions

Any help appreciated.

The only inputs look like AUX1 on that system? so to get TV/SKY sound you'll need to take the audio from the back of the telly (or sky/sat box) via a phono lead and into the Samsung unit.
