whats safe mode????help!!!
HI everyone i have just brought a 93 import..always wanted one but not a machanic only had it a week and now it not rev above 4500rpm and been told its gone in to safe mode?how do i sort this....help..cheers ash

Isnt "safe mode" the same as "limp home"? If it is then it is a sign that there is something amiss in the engine area...
I would take it to an engine area specialist who will check the engine area and confirm whether there is a fault in that area.

You need to check your ECU to find out the error code to look at possible causes.
Look on here on how to do it Main Heading Goes Here
Post your results back here when you get the code fairly easy to do.
Go down to Finding Those Connectors to work the diagram out.
