Default eng temp sensor no replies ?

a little bit dissapointed as no replies to my last,maybe newbie but maybe a new problem no one can shade light on.

when mine went it was a nightmare to start at all. radiator fans running constantly. cel stayed on but car ran ok after up to temp.

if you are not near a dealership you can get a new genuine one from here:

Subaru Impreza Turbo ECU Water Temp Sensor

had one go on a n/a legacy and it ran crap at low revs but kicked in like turbo higher up.

cheap enough just to buy one and replace.

your symptoms dont sound exactly like mine but perhaps its just starting to go. its too easy to rely on diagnostic codes sometimes but as its a cheap sensor and given age of car i would be inclined to replace it first.
