Default Jet wash muppets

Is it just me or do some ppl have a fetish when it comes to jetwashing.
I was sat waiting for this bloke jet washing his chavalier 16v and he must have put about a tenner in it coz i was sitting there for 20 minutes and when i arrived he was still jetting it LOL

If he jetted it anymore he would have brought the laquer of his paintwork lol

My local garage does double time on sundays, so i got 18 mins today... i ended up going over the car 3 times with the shampoo, twice with the brush, and god knows how many with the other options it had... i finished cos the guy behind me had been waiting almost 15 mins so i left him some free time i didnt use.

Not bad for £3

Since I told my mate not to stick my old scoob in the car wash if he wants to keep the paint in concours....he started jetwashing it instead

Yes, using that gritty nasty broom to scrub it. And truck wash suds that fetches off any trace of wax that maybe left over from when I last touched it.

He since then noted my comments and bought his own jet washer. And now complains that it doesn't get off all the traffic film...

He just doesn't understand the concept that manual labour is better!

Matt: If you read this: Bucket, car suds and sponge, and use cleaner wax every two weeks. Otherwise it'll look like every other sh*tbox scoob that you turned your nose up at.

Aye, I use the brush all the time....

....When cleaning the mud off my Land Rover after a hard day of offroading

(all the more reason not to use the brush on the jetwash at my local petrol station )

I like it when they run out of money half way through and drive off with the car covered in pink foam Especially when their frustration makes them drive off at speed and the hose catches on a mirror and drags the lance/brush into the side of the car

On the odd occasion I use a jet-wash during the grimier winter months, I go to one which is run by a company that supplies and maintains jet-washes near where I live. They are always in very good working order, plenty of suds, regularly replaced brushes, hot water etc. £1 for 6 minutes, so £2 does the whole car well. I always jet the brush and hoses before I turn on the car. Nothing worse than dragging a gritty rubber hose around the edges of your car or a crap ridden brush left on the floor by the last monkey that used it

Once the days are longer and weather warmer it's back to a full spring detail and 2 buckets and a mitt through to winter.
