rolling raod Fine tunning. warm air and indution kits
How much difference does it make when you have a roalling raod test and they fine tune the engine, do you notice the difference and should i add an induction kit before having it done because i was told adding one could upset the engine?
Whats the best kit to go for?, the filter on my car has been changed but is still in the air box should i buy a bigger one and leave it out of the box, i read something about the box stopping the warm air getting to it

Hi Nathan
A rolling road test is just that. The object is to see what's going on, and monitor it while it's doing it. The power output figures are examined, along with boost and air/fuel ratio. A good operator can pick up a great deal of info in a short time! I tend to check for fault codes on the early cars, or plug in Deltadash on the later ones, and road test as well to get the full picture.
I thought yours was an early classic? in which case it can't be actually tuned as such without modifying it in some way.
I'd leave the air filter as it is until you've come up with a way of getting at it properly.
