Thieves tried to steal my secure valve caps!!
I noticed a wee mark on my rear valve caps so i took a closer look. There were definite plier type teeth marks on both my rear valve caps so i attempted to unscrew them. To my suprise they unscrewed and the wee threaded bit that secues them had gone????
Looks to me that they have tried to take them off succesfully/unsuccesfully but for some reason decided to leave them there

Maybe but that means they were walking round with smallest screwdriver type thing and was a fellow scooby driver as there were Subaru caps!!!!
But why take just the thread when you could have taken the whole lot and not scuffed the caps in the first place?

The usual trick, they want two of them so they can but them on their BMX. Happened to me a couple of times, I got given some new valve caps for Chrimbo too, can't be R'sed putting them on tbh.
I take it you have the 'Anti theft' jobbies though? Maybe they actually work?
